Why do my lips stick out?

Okay I'm a girl. A lot of people say I'm pretty, but I'm really insecure about my mouth. When I look at pictures, it's like my mouth sticks out. It looks like I'm trying to pucker my lips, but I'm not. Why does it look like that? Can I change it?
