What does my dream mean?

So, ive had dreams with this guy already but im just really getting curious. usually when i dream about him it has to do with kissing each other, but anyways my dreams was that he and i pretended to go out and we would like hold hands walking up an down the halls just to see what peoples reactions were. and we were supposofly going out. and this girl that also likes him was in the dream too but she didnt say anything she would just sit and stare. also this other girl was in the dream, but she is like one of my close friends and his close friend too and all i remeberher saying was oh look at my nose stud. Ok so then at the end of the dream he was saying good bye to me and he gave me a hug and puckered his lips and i was ganna kiss him but then he backed away and said dont take it to serious and then the dream ended there. but the thing is that after that he told me he wanted to kiss me becuase he liked me but he didnt wanna go out with me yet. so what could this mean? please explain this to me?
