What is the difference between the Security Tab and Exchange Advanced Mailbox Rights in AD?

I was working in Active Directory and noticed that there was a Security Tab with Send as an option, and then I saw the Exchange Advanced Tab with Mailbox rights option with further security. I was wondering what the two functions are for both these AD Tabs?
