Cops caught my friends smoking weed? Read situation !!?

First of all, im 15 years old live in New York. My friends were smoking weed and i was just hanging out with them and wasnt doing anything I dont do that stuff. It was 6 of us and they found a blunt on one of them and a bag on the other one. They got locked up for the night and are probably getting charges. The rest of us he told we need to do paperwork which involved him looking at our ID and taking down name address height weight and all that stuff. He just wrote it all down on a notepad. Will I now have a criminal record or be in directory or am I involved in this in anyway and will I even get a citation. Im a good kid and planning to go to a good college and dont want to mess up my future because of this. It would be great if someone from the NYPD law enforcement department could answer this and state that their part of the NYPD, but anyone can answer. Thank you so, so much !!!
